Hong Kong Foodie<\/strong>\u00a0is currently seeking energetic and engaging foodies who have a great sense of humor to join our growing team of Foodie Guides. You must be passionate about Hong Kong and its food and are eager to share this passion with visitors from around the world. You are also a strong leader with exceptional English communication skills. Leading a Foodie Tour with Hong Kong Foodie is fun and rewarding. Founded in 2011,\u00a0Hong Kong Foodie<\/strong>\u00a0is the first licensed tour company that focuses on exploring Hong Kong’s culinary culture. Our mission is to lead hungry souls from around the world to wander off the beaten path to taste some of Hong Kong’s favorite foods while exploring Hong Kong\u2019s other flavors — history, culture and architecture.<\/p>\n

Part-time positions are currently available. You must be available for 4.5-hour blocks either in the morning or in the afternoon. Our tours run Mondays to Saturdays.<\/p>\n

Hong Kong Foodie<\/strong>\u00a0will provide you with professional Foodie Guide training lasting about 3-4 weeks.<\/p>\n

As a licensed tour company, all Foodie Guides must have a Tour Guide Pass issued by Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong. If you are not a licensed tour guide, we will help you prepare for the exams to attain the qualification.<\/p>\n

Key Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

— Passionate about Hong Kong\u2019s culinary culture<\/p>\n

— Familiar with Hong Kong\u2019s history and culture<\/p>\n

— Strong leadership abilities<\/p>\n

— Excellent communication skills in English<\/p>\n

— A great story-teller<\/p>\n

— Focus on delivering exceptional customer experience<\/p>\n

— Strong ability to collaborate with staff at eateries<\/p>\n

— Enthusiastic and energetic<\/p>\n

— Approachable, empathetic and a good listener<\/p>\n

— Fluent in both English and Cantonese<\/p>\n

— Tour guide pass from Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (preferred but not required. If you don’t have a tour guide pass, must be willing to pass the exam.)<\/p>\n
