Sink your teeth into one and you will be greeted with a glorious medley of textures\u2013 think crunchy bursts of lightly caramelized sugar crust between bites of warm, comforting bread. Mind you, there\u2019s no pineapple in the bun\u2013 its name stems from its topping\u2019s resemblance to the fruit.
